@ David, the magpie lover: The magpie also seems to be the more.... hm.... domineering cousin within the crow family.
I've never seen one become aggressive, but it's peculiar that when a regular crow joins the other birds at the feeding spot, they take no notice. When a magpie does, they take off.</description>
