(Please do keep in mind though that dehydration can be a problem during the summer months and don’t ruin your health, should the weather seriously not agree with the fasting.
I know I sure would have needed a doctor today had I not been able to drink, and I am not even fasting…)

A few years ago a few friends of mine were like “let’s fast” and I said ok. To me, fasting definitely doesn’t mean not drinking water. Hell, if you don’t drink (lots of) water and maybe tea then I’d say you don’t really get any of the potentially useful effects of it. Anyway, so they were claiming I failed because I drank water during the day. Not like I would’ve agreed to do it at all if they’d told me that drinking water would be against the rules.
