Like any good castle the Kasteel Doorwerth of course has a moat.

moat, bridge and castle
The most important picture I took, I think:

stick beside the moat

moat, seen through an arch

water lilies

ducks, in and out of focus

some plants, as seen from a bridge

Anyone got any idea what those baskets are for?

determined plant, clinging to the wall of the moat

Um, ugh, ok….
Push to call…. the Vikings?!?!? Um, better not….

strange device at one of the doors

could be so authentic… except for the plastic….

Push to call…. the Vikings?!?!? Um, better not…
Now see, I totally would
And what about the sheep? I see no sheep what happened to the sheep

I just bet you would.
The sheep got eaten by the monster in the moat…

not by the giant rabid man-eating clover? lol

Possible as well……

That would make it sheep-eating clover.

Were there any fish in the moat?
That stick might be an important historical artifact. You might want to take that picture to a nearby university for a detailed analysis.
I will guess the basket is some sort of bird house, maybe for the ducks.
“Um, ugh, ok….” Looks like the sewage pipe has a partial blockage.
