Your little village looks pretty crowded! Somehow I was thinking you lived on a farm out in the country. This looks like a suburb of a big city. ;)

Never saw a purple contrail. Maybe the plane is spraying some experimental global warming chemical? I saw some TV show where people were worried about the government spraying things out of airplanes. Don’t know if they are all crazy or if I’m living in the X-Files universe. Maybe both are true.

    Mmmmm…beautiful.

The other morning as I was driving in to work I noticed all of the trees were covered in a dusting of ice and snow. Everything looked all sparkly and clean. Wished I had had a camera with me. :dream: It was something out of a Christmas card.

Oh, and your village doesn’t look crappy. ;)

  3. Melantrys Says:

@ David: Villages often look a bit like suburbs. They just don’t have a big city attached, but farmland instead of that.

Do I really have to mention that the sunset coloured the con trail….? :s

@ Lynnette: Not crappy???? Would you please take a close look at some of the roofs in those photos?! Full of pigeon crap!

    But they’re quiet elks! :heehee:

*sigh* My boss in his infinite wisdom has chosen today to install my new computer. What a mess! My settings were gone, my custom screen saver is gone, my floppy drive is gone, my favorites were gone (had to copy them all back), and of course my cookies were gone. And he always picks the worst time when he does these things. :pullhair:

Still happy for Anarki, though.

  13. Josh Says:

Nice pictures! My favorite is the last one, the night sky one.. thats awesome. :)

  14. Melantrys Says:

@ Lynnette: Well, you know how quiet elks can be…. (Hm, does anyone?)

Poor Lynnette - evil boss. *patpatpatpatpat*

@ Josh: It speaks! On my blog! So amazing!

That’s funny, I told Mel that her pics reminded me of Harry Potter’s neighborhood. ;)

  16. David Says:

    Happy Valentine’s Day! :)

  17. lelly Says:

Nooo David! Harry Potter lives in a much posher neighbourhood!

  18. Melantrys Says:

    Not Potter…….

  22. Lynnette in Minnesota Says:

It’s kind of quiet in here … :shifty:

    Hello? Helloooooo?

  23. Lynnette in Minnesota Says:

    Aaaaachoooo! *sniff*

    Dusty too. :(

  24. David Says:

I agree with Lynnette, its too quiet here. We need some loud music or something. How about some Metallica? ;)

I saw the movie Purple Rain a few days ago. It had been years since I last saw it. I forgot how good it was! Well, everything except when Prince beat Appolonia. I always thought that scene was completely uncalled for and out of character for “The Kid”. He hated his father’s beating his mother. He defended his mother and then he does the same thing? I never bought it. Morris Day and The Time kick ass! I love Jerome’s smooth moves. :)

  25. Lynnette in Minnesota Says:

    Eeeeeeeeck!

Was that a mouse? Yes, yes, hiding behind all of those cobwebs in the corner.

  26. Melantrys Says:

*slaps Lelly and frowns at Lynnette and David*
