10,000
Congrats, PH, your visit this (well, actually yesterday) morning to comment on the Eid post was the 10,000th visit to my blog since I installed Site Meter way back in my Blogspot times.
Spent a long time there reading as well, or did you just forget to close the window?
Anyway, I need your name and address now to send you your prize.
Nawww, joking, although there should be some price in some way. Ideas, ideas….

I’m flattered and it seems quite lucky
.
“Spent a long time there reading as well”
Well given it was the 10,000′th comment I wanted to make it special
.

Don’t worry I can set up an anonymous paypal account for the prize
or if thats not enough I can always set up an offshore swiss account
or if its not money a Post office box will do
; but you won’t need any personel info

Yeah, right, as if you knew at the time….
And I knew you’d wriggle out of it of course.

If I had a counter, it would probably read less than 1000. Maybe I should add porn links or something to attract more visitors.

Pffffff. I don’t get staggering amounts of hits, but the number has suddenly massively increased in the past few weeks.
).
I bet you’d have more than 1,000. Quite apart from the silent lurkers you always get a lot of ppl via Google (sometimes googling for the weirdest things and making you wonder briefly if you put those porn links in after all…
My last - ahem - interesting search term referral was “my friend taking my mams clothes off”.

Pfffff? Actually, my comment was a subtle hint that you should visit my blog. It seems like your last comment there was more than a year ago.

A massive increase of lurkers? Hmmm…I hope they aren’t friends of your troll.

@ David: See? If you had Site Meter you’d see that I do visit, but I’ve been lurking a lot, er, recently.
@ Lynnette: Nah, I just mean ppl who read and don’t comment. And I think the main increase is caused by Google searches.
The troll still occasionally comes and reads the few Google caches that are yet left of some pages. Well, I guess Google will catch up soon with my wishes/new code and remove those as well.
What a weird freak…
Thank goodness most Arabs (even those who do not wish to be called Arabs) are sane, lol.
Well, with the exception of those I have met…

It is not polite to lurk.
December 23rd, 2007 at 11:31 pm
*lurks*

But, but, lurking can be fun.
Besides, sometimes you just don’t feel like talking.
