So, real Black Forest ham costs $8.00/pound. Well, I paid about $2.00/pound. It is some sort of WalMart brand ham. Mel, the ham is pretty good, but not the best I ever had. At least, I don't think it was smoked with swamp weed. ;) So, what do those real Black Forest pigs eat to make them taste so good? Some sort of old growth mushrooms, or maybe ancient ginseng?
