I used to use henna in my hair (I just bought it in bulk and mixed it myself, cheaper than the little commercial boxed kind)and hated the swamp like smell--until I mixed my henna with cinnamon and cloves (powdered). Really makes the scent nicer, and added a depth to the color. Lovely color.
