I like the view upriver! It runs so straight, it seems more like an aquaduct than a river. Is this really a natural river?

Hey, we finally have a few daffodils opening here. Maybe I'll take a picture. I still can't believe that you had flowers before me. I am sure Germany is farther north than Indiana!

The first picture of the water down from the bridge is very disconcerting perspective-wise. It could be a view from a towering cliff down into the ocean. Kind of reminds me of the movie Pappilion!

What does the sign under Jesus say?

The tired tree is quite interesting. I suspect that it once stood up straight, but the erosion of the ditch gradually caused it to lean over.

The walking tree looks very crab-like, in a sort of post nuclear holocaust sort of way. ;)

Very nice pictures! Hope you didn't get wet on the way home! :)

It's a natural river, but its course has been straightened at some points. Couldn't say if that's the case at this stretch though, really no clue.

All of Germany seems to be further north than the US. And, boy, is spring late this year, bah!

It's part of a bible quote. The sign says:
Er ist verwundet worden um unserer Missetaten willen; durch Seine Wunden sind wir geheilt worden
Isaias 53,5 1923

But he was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his bruises we are healed.

The funny thing is, in German it should be Jesaja, not Isaias.

Hmmmm. I did and didn't get wet.
I was by car.
It didn't start raining until I had been home for a bit.
I was doing some weeding when I decided that although I didn't mind the mild wind and rain I did mind the interval between lightning and thunder getting ever shorter.

more lovely pictures! These kind of remind me of some of the country round here. I used to spend a lot of time hiking the back country, where there are big trees and creeks and steep hillsides and cliffs. Those were some of my favorite times.
No snowdrops here, but in the meadows at the edge of the woods there are stands of wild orchids, tiny pink ones, calypsos.

Yeah, well, let's hope for better weather then. I don't really fancy stomping around the wilderness in the rain at 10°C.

And maybe I should find someone to accompany me, or my father will worry himself sick, lol.

Oh well, anyway, TIME FOR SPRING! NOW!!

How are you, girl? *hugs*
