Some cat pictures
Is that some wildcatty critter or what?!
Looking almost like any normal house cat.
Sleeping on my sleeping bag…
… and not sharpening his claws on it like some other cats I know.
For that he found something else…
Was visiting some relatives. That’s the cat that moved in there.
It’s a shame I did not dare to pry his mouth open to take a picture of his teeth. I swear it’s the truth; his teeth are at least half as long again as a regular house cat’s teeth. And they’re sharp as hell.
But he’s a big softy, really. I spent a whole night with him sleeping beside my head and smelling of tuna, and I did not wake up with any additonal bite or scratch marks in the morning.
I did wake up though from him wheezing into my ear in a threatening way (sounded like he was gonna throw up) at 5 am and from him meeowing at a quarter to 7 because he wanted out - or so I thought. Bastard just wanted food.
Am back home now, so entertain me.

Having a cat sleeping with you seems neat at the beginning of the night, but as night progresses (or rather as they fall asleep which is usually sooner than me) then will stretch and stretch and strech… and then stretch even more. And she will repeat this procedure if you push her away slightly. In the end I managed to out-annoy her though, so she took a spot near my feet, which was more of a gentle coexistence than a fight for lying space. Until I apperently moved over to the other side in my sleep and kicked her, which resulted in a nail attack.
Ah well, at least cats usually seem to like me.

You’ve been sharing the bed with the wrong cat then.
I dozed off, woke up shortly afterwards, wondered what that godawful fishy smell was, turned my head to the left and encountered something soft and furry that started making muted purring noises. So I moved a tad to the other side, and we got along just fine.
Except for the wheezing and food begging later in the morning that had me scrambling out of my sleeping bag in a hurry each time, that is…

What an interesting looking cat! He looks like he has an old white beard. Long teeth, eh? Perhaps he is part Sabre Tooth.
What a bad kitty for scratching your hand and waking you so early! I like cats, but they have to sleep in a separate room.
What sort of entertainment would you like? More body parts flying perhaps?

Now that’s one cool-looking cat.
Pity his name’s “Peterle”, though…

Hey you. The author of the “Shame” essay I wrote about wants to get into a dialogue with you about the Star Trek thing you mentioned. Come on back!
