Urr, you know what?? I have never seen real snow in my life. It would be nice if I can see it for once. Maybe I should go to the north this season. Could catch it there sometimes.

Do you stay snowed in all winter long in your part of Germany? Here in Indianapolis, the snow comes and goes. Some winters are very cold and snowy, but others are quite mild with little snow. Also, the temperature rarely stays below freezing for more than a few weeks. Occasionally, it will get really cold, like minus 10 degrees fahrenheit. I imagine that the temps can dip much colder in Germany.

That’s down south in the mountains. Here, 20cm is a rarity that ppl celebrate.
But they predicted that this winter will be an evil one…
note to self: word verification and beer do not go along well….

So I have to know . . . did you take these pictures? They’re wonderful! The composition and the lighting are magnificent. How about the ones of the toppled masts? (I’m guessing they’re press photos, but I have to ask.)

Those pictures here I took myself.

Can’t take much credit though, except for buying a good camera though maybe.
The masts… well, they were between 40 and 80 km away, and the weather was still bad, so take a guess whether I went and took em myself or nicked ‘em off the internet…

Heh heh, well, I still love the snowy pictures; especially the first one, with the light hitting the tree in the left foreground.
